I’m the photographer behind Velvet Light — creating considered imagery that tells the story of a space, its design, and the vision behind it.
Every interior carries intention. Every designer brings a point of view. I approach each project as an opportunity to translate that into imagery that feels calm, refined, and true to the brand it represents.
I grew up in the north-west of Western Australia, where the landscape and changing light shaped the way I notice space. That early awareness of light and atmosphere led naturally into photography, and it has stayed with me ever since.
Now based in Perth, I bring that same quiet attention to light, balance and detail to the interiors and commercial spaces I photograph.
When I’m not behind the lens, life is centred around my family — my incredibly supportive husband, Ash, our two children, Hudson and Riley, and our much-loved pets: Kola, our loyal chocolate lab, and Whisky, a ginger cat with very dog-like tendencies.
